He was drafted in the second round with the 36th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft by the New York Giants. However, he was placed on the injured reserve on September 6, 2020, with a fractured foot. And was activated on November 28, 2020. In a game against the Dallas Cowboys on January 3, 2021, he recorded his first career interception off quarterback Andy Dalton in the end zone with 1:24 remaining in the 4th quarter helping the Giants beat the Cowboys 23-19.
