Whit Johnson ( Whitney C. Johnson) is an American journalist, currently working as a co-anchor for the weekend edition of Good Morning America and he also anchors the Saturday edition of ABC’s World News Tonight.
Career
He started his early career as an evening weekday anchor and reporter for KSL-TV the NBC affiliate in Salt Lake City, Utah. After that, he joined KNDO/KNDU where he started his on-air career as a weekend evening anchor and weekday reporter. In 2009 he joined CBS News as a correspondent and a substitute anchor. While working at CBS most of his reports focused more on the White House on Capitol Hill and foreign policy issues.
