Tom Parker known by his name Thomas Anthony Parker was a famous English singer widely recognized as a member of the bot band The Wanted. He appeared with his bandmates in 2013 in the E! channel reality series The Wanted Life. After the band’s break in 2014, he embarked on a solo career.
At the age of 32 in October 2020, he was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. In September 2021, The Wanted re-united but Parker succumbed to his tumor and died on March 30, 2022, aged 33.

A mass audition was held in 2009 by Jayne Collins to form a boy band after successfully launching Parade and The Saturdays. Tom auditioned and was selected as one of five members along with Nathan Sykes, Siva Kaneswaran, Max George, and Jay McGuiness out of the thousands who auditioned. Together they formed a band and they worked on their debut album before finding a name for their band, The Wanted. On July 5, 2010, their debut single “All Time Low” was released and debuted at No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart.
They went ahead and produced hit songs like “Heart Vacancy”, Glad You Came”, Chasing the Sun”, and “I Found You”. In support of a crossover appeal to the American music market, the group started their own reality series in 2013, on E!. The series titled The Wanted Life aired only for one season. In January 2014, The Wanted announced their decision to break up. Tom as a member of the band, has sold over 12 million records worldwide. He is also an avid DJ and collaborated with Richard Rawson on a track called “Fireflies” which was released in August 2014.
He took part in the UK version of Celebrity MasterChef in May 2015 but was eliminated during the semi-finals of the competition. Parker in October 2015, released a solo single titled “Undiscovered” along with his own website and tour dates.
