Stephen Silas is a notable American basketball coach who is a head coach for the Houston Rockets of the NBA (National Basketball Association). Moreover, he is the son of the long-time NBA head coach Paul Silas.
From 2000 to 2002, he worked under his father at the Charlotte Hornets, from 2002 to 2003 at New Orleans Hornets, and from 2003 to 2005, at the Cleveland Cavaliers. In addition, during the 2005-06 season, he served as an advance scout for the Washington Wizards, and from 2006 to 2010, he served as an assistant coach for the Golden State Warriors.
