Robert Shapiro (Robert Leslie Shapiro) is an American attorney, he is well known for being a short-term defense lawyer for Erik Menendez in 1990. He was also one of the members of the “Dream Team” of O.J Simpson’s lawyers who defended him successfully from the charges of murdering his ex-wife and her friend Ron Goldman in 1994. Career
He was called to the State Bar of California in 1969. Robert has represented popular athletes including, OJ Simpson Darryl Strawberry, José Canseco, and Vince Coleman. In addition, he has also represented other celebrities including, Johnny Carson, Christian Brando, Linda Lovelace, the Kardashians, and F. Lee Bailey. In 1998 he sued Strawberry due to unpaid legal fees, however, the matter was dealt with out of court.
