Rebecca Romney (born: Rebecca Angeline Engeat) is an American book dealer, television personality, and evaluator. She is best recognized for her work on The History Channel show Pawn Stars. Romney is associated with Honey & Wax Booksellers.

Rebecca is also popular for being a former manager at Bauman Rare Books in Las Vegas. Her profession as a rare book specialist involves researching, cataloging, buying and selling rare books. Rebecca Romney also bears a well-known second name in American politics.

Rebecca attended local schools for her early education. She later attended Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah to study for her degree in Classics and Linguistics. Eventually, in late 2007, Rebecca was employed by the renowned Bauman Rare Books ahead of the launch of their new gallery in Las Vegas. She started off as a shop attendant and later rose to the rank of a manager in 2010. Her exposure at Bauman caused Rebecca to fall in love with rare books, and she describes it as her dream job.

On leaving Bauman, Rebecca Romney engaged in a number of projects, including producing and running a book podcast, the ‘Biblioclast’ alongside her husband. Later in the year, she joined Honey & Wax Booksellers based in Brooklyn, New York. She also runs her own company, Honey and Wax Books where she sources and sells rare books to clients.

While talking about the role, Rebecca said, “It’s a lot of fun. I really like it. But it’s all somewhat cherry on top; it’s something I never expected to be doing. Just working for Bauman, which is so well-known and reputed in the rare book world, is my dream job.”
