Who is Ranvir Singh?
Ranvir Singh is a British television journalist and presenter. Ranvir is also a Political Editor and newsreader, she is also the deputy presenter for Good Morning Britain.
Singh began her career in 2002 at BBC Radio Lancashire, she joined on work experience before she was given a 6-month contract. After that, she moved to BBC GMR, where she covered the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester. In 2005 she joined the BBC North West regional news program which was called North West Tonight, where she was a bulletin presenter and a journalist.
Singh presented her first national role Good Friday in 2006. Where she co-presented Manchester Passion, a live BBC Three play that retold the last hour of Jesus Christ. She then joined presenter Gordon Burn as the main co-presenter on BBC North West Tonight. The former BBC South editor Roger Johnson become her co-presenter in October 2011 after Burn’s left. On May,18th,2012, Ranvir went for a maternity leave from North West Tonight. However, it was later announced that she would not be returning to the BBC.
