Nathalia Ortiz Biography
Nathalia Ortiz is a bilingual journalist with extensive experience in both Spanish and English-language media. Ortiz began her career in 2006 as a weekend reporter for WLTV, Univision’s local station in Miami, where she grew up.
Ortiz moved to New York City in 2008 where she reported for several News 12 stations in the tri-state area. She then took on a position in communications with the Diocese of Brooklyn in 2009.
There, Ortiz created the Hispanic media department and lead the launch of a digital and print newspaper for the Spanish-speaking Catholic community in Brooklyn and Queens.
She jumped back into mainstream media when she joined Telemundo NY’s local station as an anchor and reporter in 2012.
