Nan Kingsley is the widow of American country music radio personality Bob Kingsley. The couple was married for 30 years until Bob’s death on 17 October 2019. The couple founded “Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40” and the company KCCS productions in 2006.
Nan and Bob worked with the Careity Foundation, a charity that benefits terminally ill children at the Cook Children’s New Palliative Care Unit. They were awarded the Careity Foundation’s humanitarian award in 2005.
In February 2019, Nan opened a luxury spa in Nashville named the Bluestem Wellness Spa. she started the business alongside Nashville-based lawyer, Megan Zarling. In 2015, country music DJ Blair Garner called Nan one of his mentors. This was when he was asked in a Billboard Magazine interview about who his mentor was in radio.
He responded saying, “Bob Kingsley is the man that sets the bar, as far as I’m concerned. He and [wife] Nan have been so gracious in offering me guidance throughout my career, and I just aspire to a small bit of what Bob has achieved in his career and what he has done for our format.”

Nan got married to country music radio personality Bob Kingsley on 24 September 1989. Their wedding song was “There’s No Way” by Alabama. The couple met at a radio convention in San Francisco in 1983.
Bob has described their meeting as being “pretty much love at first sight. It was on August 23. I thought, “I want to meet this girl.” At that time, Nan was working in selling radio shows into syndication. Nan and Bob began dating, long distance.
The couple was so passionate about cutting, the sport of a horse and rider work together before a judge or panel of judges to demonstrate the horse’s athleticism and ability to handle cattle. They also chose to move to the city because it is the “Cutting Capital of the World.”
Kingsley also shared that the family had five cutting horses and the number risen to 19 horses by 2010.

Bob was diagnosed with bladder cancer in October 2019. The diagnosis forced him to cede hosting duties for what was initially intended to be a temporary leave of absence to treat the disease. He died at his home in Weatherford, Texas on October 17, 2019, at the age of 80. His sudden death was due to complications related to his treatment.
