Comedian Brian Conley spoofed her under the guise of Septic Peg, a character on The Brian Conley Show, with Meg even appearing together with his parody. In the first edition of the News of the World for each year, she made predictions for the coming 12 months. These predictions were a famous feature of the paper.
Mystic partnered with bookmaker Gala Coral Group and was the face of their Grand National ”You’re Guaranteed a Fortune” marketing campaign in April 2015. She owned a number of racehorses under the company name Mystic Meg Limited, based in Bedford. The horses consisted of Astrodonna, Astroangel, and Astronova, and other horses with celestial names. She launched a website, featuring horoscopes, personalized readings, and a telephone hotline with a selection of her favorite professional psychics in 2015. On January 2, 2015, Meg left The Sun. Meg’s name would be used in British political culture as an answer to a difficult question.

On March 9, 2023, Meg died from influenza at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, London at the age of 80.
