Michael Alan Newton-Parry abbreviated as Mike Parry is a prominent English journalist and radio presenter. He served as News Editor of the Daily Express in the late 1990s.
After graduating, he went on to become ” a Fleet Street reporter” and worked on tabloid newspapers including The Sun. Also, he served as News Editor of the Daily Express in the late 1990s and then as News Editor of the Press Association. Moreover, he became a Press Officer with the Football Association. Radio Career
He joined Talk Radion in 1999 (later known as talkSPORT). Originally, he co-presented the Sports Breakfast with Alan Brazil. However, after the onset of health problems, he left in 2004 and was replaced by Graham Beecroft and subsequently Ronnie Irani. Following an improvement in his health, he returned to co-host The Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show on Monday and Friday mornings. Sometimes, he also stood in for Irani if he was unavailable. Next, he began presenting the 10:00 – 13:00 slot with Andy Townsend from Mondays to Fridays in 2009.
The next year from June, he began co-hosting the same slot with Mike Graham. However, in February 2011, they were replaced by Richard Keys and Andy Gray. On February 19, 2011, he stood in for regular presenter Mark Chapman on 606 on Radio 5 Live and again on April 2, 2011, alongside Robbie Savage. From mid-2017 to August 2019, he presented the Saturday lunchtime ‘Warm-Up’ show on talkSPORT. During his time there, he had various co-hosts, including Brazil, Danny Kelly, Graham, and Jason Cundy. After 20 years in August 2019, Mike left talkSPORT. From 2020 to 2021, he represented weekend shows on talkRADIO.

In addition to his journalism and radio career, he started his television career as the co-presenter of the Sports Tonight Live show with Chris Cohen.
