Matthew Hoffman Biography

Matthew Hoffman is an American television host and personality. He is the narrator on Love Island USA Season 1. Hoffman appeared to the public on ABC hosting the “Greatest Interview Ever With Matthew Hoffman” on “People’s List” ( ABC News / People Magazine) starring Jerry O’Connell.

He is also the host of celebrity interview show “Sit Down With The Stars” for Regal Cinemas. He has interviewed from Emily Blunt to Denzel Washington.

He has also appeared as a special correspondent for Extra, starring Mario Lopez. He hosts “You Know That Scene” for Focus Features, too.

He has done press tours for films such as Rocketman, Captain Marvel, Venom, and A Wrinkle in Time for Regal Cinemas, and Fandango. Hoffman was a red carpet host at the 2019 Independent Spirit Awards and Tony Awards. Hoffman also hosted Hollyscoop, a celeb competition show called The Games We Play. He was a correspondent on The Fran Drescher Show.

After moving to to LA, Hoffman launched a weekly volunteer program and mini film series he calls “Tuesdays With Matthew.” In the show he dresses, directs, and films senior citizens — or “SCENE-iors,” as he calls them — in reenactments of classic films. In his own words, Hoffman raised thousands of dollars for the organization to date, and made many a Californian senior feel like a true thespian in the process.
