2016 to 2018
On September 12, 2016, the Athletics bought Olson’s contract and he was named to the major league club. He then played 11 games for Oakland. Matt later split time between Oakland and Nashville in 2017. He batted .272 with 23 home runs and 60 RBIs in 79 games for Nashville.
