Lou Leon Guerrero is an American businesswoman, nurse, and politician. At the moment she is serving as the 9th Governor of Guam since 2019. Prior to being the governor, Leon Guerrero served 5 terms as a senator in the Guam Legislature from 1995 to 2007. Guerrero started her career as a staff nurse at Santa Monica a Hospital in Santa Monica, California. After serving for a while she came back to Guam in 1980.
