A Club Career

In his club career, he has spet time with youth spells; Club Urquiza (Gualeguay, Entre Rios), Club Libertad (Gualeguay, Entre Rios), and Newell’s Old Boys. He made his professional debut in the 2016-17 season for Newell’s club’s final fixture of the season where he played the full match in a loss to Godoy Cruz. He then joined fellow Argentine Primera Division side Defensa y Justicia in August 2017 on loan. On October 13, was his first appearance for Defensa in a defeat against San Lorenzo. After two appearances, he scored his first goal in an away win versus Temperley. In June 2018, he was permanently signed by Defensa y Justicia.

Defensa y Justicia announced on May 17, 2019, that a deal had been agreed with Eredivisie team Ajax; subject to the passing of a medical. On May 20, Ajax announced the completion of the medical with the transfer to go through on July 1. With Ajax, he penned a four-year contract with the option of a further year. On September 28, he netted his first goal for Ajax as he opened the scoring in a 2-0 victory over FC Groningen at the Johan Cruyff Arena. He went on to score again in November against Utrecht in a campaign that was ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
