Kyle Brandt Biography
Kyle Brandt is an American television host, media personality, and actor from Hinsdale, Illinois. Brandt is one of the co-hosts of Good Morning Football on NFL Network. He previously served as executive producer of The Jim Rome Show from 2009 until 2016.
Kyle is also known for portraying Philip Kiriakis on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives, and starring on MTV’s reality television series The Real World: Chicago.

He attended Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, Illinois from where he graduated in 1997 as the school’s all-time leading rusher for football. Brandt would go on to attend Princeton University, where he was a three-year starter at running back and kick returner.
While he served as president of his fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, he became increasingly interested in acting and entertainment. Kyle participated in local theater and also acted in numerous plays on campus, and wrote his senior thesis on the creative process of adapting books into films. Brandt graduated in 2001 with a degree in English.

He was selected from over 50,000 applicants to cast on MTV’s The Real World: Chicago, the 11th season of The Real World. With his fellow castmates, they worked as lifeguards on North Avenue Beach during the show. He moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue acting after the show.
He portrayed the character of Philip Kiriakis on the American soap opera, Days of Our Lives from 2003 to 2006. Being a U.S. Marine, Kiriakis’ storylines included saving his girlfriend from mercenaries, being tortured as a POW, losing his leg at war, and finally becoming a NASCAR driver.

Kyle became a producer and writer on the nationally syndicated radio show, The Jim Rome Show, hosted by Jim Rome in 2007. He then became executive producer of the show in 2009. He began regularly hosting as a fill-in host in 2011. Brandt has interviewed Peyton Manning, Troy Polamalu, Dana White, Vince Vaughn, Adam Carolla, and Rob Riggle, among others. His final day on the show was on 22 July 2016 after which he joined the NFL network’s revamped morning show.

He guest-hosted a special edition of Rome, doing the entire show from the perspective of Han Solo on Halloween of 2014. From 2012, he served as a producer and writer for Jim Rome on Showtime until its cancellation in 2015.
