Who is Joy Reid?

Joy Reid ( Joy-Ann M. Lomena-Raid) is an American cable Tv host, MSNBC national correspondent, and also a liberal political commentator. In 2016 she was described as one of the political pundits who has been at the forefront of the cable-news conversations during this election season.

She has also written a book about the recent history of the Democratic Party titled Fracture, she wrote the book in 2016. Fracture entails Barack Obama, the Clintons, and the Racial Divide. Raid has also hosted a morning show titled Joy AM which airs every morning at MSNBC.

However, the show lasted for only one year and it was canceled on February 19, 2015, and she was moved to a new role as a national correspondent. From May 2016 she began hosting a political weekend-morning show titled AM Joy on MSNBC. In addition, she appears frequently stand for the other MSNBC host such as Chris Hayes and Rachael Maddow.
