Who Is John Suthers?
John Suther is an American politician and lawyer, serving as the mayor of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Prior to being Mayor, he served as the Attorney General of Colorado, U.S. Attorney for Colorado, Executive Director of the Colorado Department of Corrections. In addition, he also served as Fourth Judicial District Attorney. Moreover, he is a member of the Republican Party.
Suthers worked as a deputy and chief deputy district attorney in Colorado Springs from 1977 to 1981. From 1979 to 1981, he led the district attorney’s office’s Economic Crime Division and co-wrote a book on consumer fraud and white-collar crime.
