John Mulaney is an American comic, actor, writer, and producer. he’s best known for his work as a writer on Saturday Night Live and as a comic with stand-up specials the highest Part, New in Town, The Comeback Kid, and Kid Gorgeous, that he won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a spread Special in 2018.

After graduating from Georgetown in 2004, Mulaney moved to NY City with ambitions of a career in comedy and was hired as an office assistant at Comedy Central. After a year, he pitched the thought for a parody of I really like the ’80s called I really like the ’30s, which he developed alongside fellow comedian Nick Kroll.
