Who is Joe Judge?
Joseph Francis Judge, (Joe Judge), is an American professional football coach, most recently the head coach of the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) from 2020 to 2021. Before joining the Giants, he worked as an assistant coach for the New England Patriots from 2012 to 2019. During his time there, the Patriots appeared in four Super Bowls and won three of them. He also led the Giants to a 6-10 finish in his first year as head coach, followed by a 4-13 season that led to his dismissal on January 11, 2022.

Judge joined his alma mater, Mississippi State University as a graduate assistant for the Bulldogs in 2005. Next, he worked for a short time for the Birmingham-Southern Panthers in 2008 and then as a special teams assistant for Alabama. He then joined the New England Patriots in 2012, as their special teams assistant and worked in the position to the 2014 season. Judge was later promoted to special teams coordinator after the Patriots won Super Bowl XLIX, following the retirement of Scott O’Brien. 2020 season
Judge lost his head coaching debut by a score of 16-26 to the Pittsburgh Steelers on September 13, 2020. After an 0-5 start to the season, he received his first career win as a head coach against the Washington Football Team on October 18, 2020, by a score of 20-19.`After Judge fired his offensive line coach Marc Colombo and replaced him with former Dolphins offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo, there was a coaching controversy on November 18, 2020, after Week 10, due to a verbal altercation.
