She later joined the Henley Standard in 1992. Following studying Media and Communication Studies, Gow joined BBC Sport in 1999 as a production secretary for Sports Personality of the Century. Requested to present the speedway from the Somerset Rebels at Highbridge, a TV producer spotted her and asked her to present the FIM World Longtrack Championships. This resulted in presenting independently produced speedway and Motorcross productions, broadcast on Channel 4, Sky Sports, Men & Motors, and Motors TV.

Gow became a continuity announcer for ITV from the summer of 2004, and for Five from 2007 to 2008, and since 2006 has been the presenter of the Jersey Rally.
