Jen Psaki is an American political advisor serving as the 34th White House press secretary in the Biden Administration. She also served as U.S Department of State’s spokesperson in addition to previously holding various roles in the Obama Administration in senior press and communications. Psaki also worked in CNN as a contributor.

Jen Psaki’s Career

Psaki started her career working in the 2001 reelection campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Vilsack who was running for governor and Tom Harkin for the United States Senate. She later served John Kerry during his 2004 presidential campaign as deputy press secretary. Psaki also served as communications director to Joseph Crowley who was a U.S Representative as well as regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee from 2005 to 2006.

Psaki served as travelling press secretary during the presidential campaign of Barack Obama who was at the time a U.S Senator. After Obama’s victory, she became Deputy Press Secretary and later on December 19, 2009, she received a promotion to Deputy Communications Director.
