Jeff Corwin is a wildlife biologist, animal enthusiast and environmentalist. He is also an Emmy Award-winning TV Host famous for hosting Going wild with Jeff Corwin on Disney, Animal Planet’s Jeff Corwin Experience and Ocean Treks with Jeff Corwin on ABC.

Jeff has worked a conservationist of endangered species, ecosystems and natural resources around the world. He believes that through awareness and education, these crucial elements can be preserved for future generations to come. Corwin started his conservationist journey back in 1984 when he first experienced rain forests in Belize. At the time being an undergraduate, he became active in the conservation of rain forests in Central and South America. One of his greatest milestones was when he addressed the General Assembly of the United Nations on the necessity to conserve neotropical rainforests.

Jeff’s main and most powerful platform was television. In 1994, he started off as expedition naturalist for the documentary series, The Jason Project led by oceanographer Bob Ballard. His next step was the renown Disney Channel, Going World with Jeff Corwin from 1997 to 1999. Corwin later partnered with Animal Planet and Discovery Communications which offered him positions as host and executive producer of two series. These would be the Jeff Corwin experience from 2000 to 2003 and Corwin’s Quest from 2005 until 2006.

It was also in 2003 that Corwin hosted an Animal Planet documentary called Giant Monsters. During the 2011 Japan Tsunami, Corwin plays the role of a geologist on MSNBC in explaining the catastrophic phenomenon. It was also in 2011 that he acquired a position as host of Ocean Mysteries with Jeff Corwin on the ABC wildlife expedition series. In 2014, the series won on the category of Outstanding Travel Program in the 41st Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
