A College Career

In 2014, he redshirted his first year at Louisiana Tech. The next year in 2015, he played in 12 games (5 starts) and recorded 35 tackles and six sacks. In 2016 as a sophomore, he set the school record for sacks in a season with 14.5. In 2017 as a junior, he had 38 tackles and seven sacks. He made his return to Louisiana Tech in 2018 for his senior year. During that season, he broke the school record for career sacks and broke his own school record for sacks in a single season with 17.5. Therefore, he became the NCAA FBS career sack leader during the 2018 Hawaii Bowl and was also named winning-team MVP of that game. A Professional Career

He was drafted in the third round (85th overall) of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. Because of a hamstring injury, he was placed on the injured list on July 19, 2019. Two days later, he was removed from the injured list. He went on to make his NFL debut on September 22, 2019, in a game against the Kansas City Chiefs where he recorded 18 snaps. His first-career tackle came two weeks later against the Pittsburgh Steelers. On November 3, he made his first NFL start against the New England Patriots.

He went on to record his first career sack on November 17, against the Houston Texans bringing down Deshaun Watson in the second quarter. After three weeks, he recorded his second sack against Josh Allen of the Buffalo Bills. In week 4 of 2020, season, he recorded his first sack of the season against the Washington Football Team on another late NFL player Dwayne Haskins in the 31-17 win. On November 28, 2020, he was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list by the Ravens and was activated two days later. In the 2020 season, he started in one game and appeared in 14 games total. Overall, he finished the season with 2.0 sacks and 30 tackles. In 2021, he made appearances in 10 games where he recorded six tackles but no sack.
