Jane Carol Ginsburg is an American attorney and the daughter of the late former associate justice of the Supreme Court of the United States Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She serves as the Morton L. Janklow Professor of Literary and Artistic Property Law at Columbia Law School.

Ginsburg was elected to the British Academy in 2011. She teaches and writes about copyright law, international copyright law, legal methods, and trademark law. Being multilingual, Ginsburg is fluent in French and Italian. She has been a visiting professor at law schools and universities in France and Italy and also in Australia, England, Israel, and New Zealand.

Ruth Ginsburg has battled with cancer complications and other ailments since her first diagnosis of colon cancer in 1999.
