Artland Dragons (2015-2016)

He joined the MTV Gieben youth ranks and went on his career at the youth teams at QTSV Quakenbruck/Artland Dragons, following his father signing to play with the Artland Dragons in 2009. Hartenstein guided the Artland Dragons’ junior team to a German championship in the Under-16 Bundesliga JBBL in the 2013-14 season and was named Most Valuable Player.
