Harry Crosby born Harry Lillis Crosby III is an American former film and television actor, an investment banker, and a philanthropist.

He is known for Friday the 13th (1980), Hollow Venus: Diary of a Go-Go Dancer (1989), and Double Trouble (1984). Harry gained show business experience at a tender age by appearing with his father and the rest of the family on various Christmas television specials from 1970 to 1977 and also at the London Palladium in 1976 and 1977. Crosby has appeared in several films and television programs which include The Hollywood Palace, Friday the 13th, Riding for the Pony Express, and The Private History of a Campaign That Failed.

Harry has been in investment banking since 1985 and he is a partner at Cranemere. Crosby attended the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art from 1977 to 1980 and earned an MBA at Fordham Graduate School of Business Administration.

Harry was born the fifth son of singer and actor Bing Crosby. He is the eldest child from Bing’s second marriage to actress Kathryn Crosby. Harry is the elder brother of Nathaniel Crosby and Mary Crosby. He is also the younger half-brother of Gary, Dennis, Phillip, and Lindsay Crosby; the half-uncle of Denise Crosby, and the nephew of Bob Crosby and Larry Crosby.

He became a general partner at Snow Phipps, a private equity firm specializing in leveraged acquisitions, build-ups, recapitalizations, restructuring, and growth equity investments, of small to middle-market companies in 2005. Harry was involved in the firm’s sale of Excel Mining Systems to Orica for approximately $670mn.

Harry became a general partner at Cranemere, investing in middle-market private companies in North America, Germany, and Austria in 2012. He has also served on a number of other corporate boards, which include that of Excel Mining Systems.
