Gina Kirschenheiter Biography
Gina Kirschenheiter is an American television personality known for starring on the show The Real Housewives of Orange County. She is also a former flight attendant for North American Airlines.
Gina attended Hofstra University, a private college in Long Island, from where she majored in Psychology. Kirschenheiter however says she was interested in Psychology as a subject, she was not interested enough to pursue a career in that field.
After leaving her job as a flight attendant, Gina served as an executive assistant on the Upper East Side neighborhood in New York City. Gina considered going back to school to earn a master’s degree in health administration from the Hofstra School of Medicine, but at the time became pregnant with her first child. She instead focused on motherhood.

Kirschenheiter was previously married to Matthew Kirschenheiter,a financial planner. Gina met her future husband Kirschenheiter when they were both attending the Hofstra University in New York. The couple began dating soon after and finally got married on May 15, 2010. The couple’s first child together a son, Nicholas Kirschenheiter, was born two years later on June 23 2012. Kirschenheiter gave birth to their second child, a daughter named Sienna Kirschenheiter in 2014. Gina and her family moved to California the next year following which they welcomed another son, Luca in August 2015.
It was reported in mid 2018 that Gina had already separated from her husband. This rumors were fueled by the fact that her husband never made an appearance on her reality television show, ‘The Real Housewives of Orange County’. She later revealed in July 2018 that ahe and her husband had already split in April the same year and they were going through legal procedures of getting divorced.
Gina also confirmed that they were finalizing the divorce proceedings and they were supposed to finalize in November the same year.
he couple was making attempts to reconcile for the skae of their family but this changed after Matt allegedly showed up at Ginas house and violently attacked her. She now wants full custody of their children and also Matt to stay away from her and the kids because she does not feel safe anymore.
Matthew was arrested that night on suspicion of felony domestic violence and two days later Gina requested a temporary restraining order against Matt. She was granted her request and Matthew was to stay at least 100 yards away from her and their children.
Gina was also granted legal and physical custody until the hearing of the restraining order on July 17th.

Gina joined the show in its 13th season in July 2018, after moving from Long Island. On the shows web page about her, she was described as “a single mom of sorts”. She was also described as the “expressive outsider from Long Island” who would shake things up with her political correctness.
Gina had already filed for divorce from her husband in April 2018, long before the show was aired on July 16, 2018. Her then husband never showed up on the show itself, creating a lot of speculations about their relationship, this however worked in favor of the show’s publicity.
She understood the confusion and she joked during an interview that her husband was real because her co-star from the show, Emily Simpson had met him in person. She further clarified that he doesn’t appear on the show because her employer does not want him to and the reason not being them getting divorced.
