Coria won his maiden title in Savannah in 2019 at the challenger tour level. At the 2020 US Open (tennis) on his Grand Slam debut, he reached the second round where he won his first match at a Major after the retirement of Jason Jung in the fifth set. On September 21, 2020, he made his top 100 debuts at a career-high of World No. 98. In addition, he reached the third round of the 2020 French Open where he defeated Benoit Paire in the second round before losing to Jannik Sinner in straight sets.
