Evan Thomas Peters is an American actor. He is well recognized for his multiple roles on the FX anthology collections American Horror Story, as Stan Bowes in the first season of the FX ballroom drama series Pose. Also as Peter Maximoff / Quicksilver in the X-Men film series (2014-2019).
Peters played Detective Colin Zabel in HBO’s Mare of Easttown in 2021. He received critical acclaim and was awarded the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie. Evan made his acting breakout in the 2004 drama movie Clipping Adam and starred in the ABC science fiction series Invasion from 2005 to 2006.
He appeared in numerous national commercials for established brands which include Kelloggs, Papa John’s Pizza and PlayStation. He also recurred roles on Disney Channel’s Phil of the Future and The CW’s One Tree Hill at the time he was appearing in the commercials. Early Career 2004-2011
Peters was picked by producer Michael Picchiottino for the role of Adam Sheppard in the film Clipping Adam on his second audition. He received the award of Best Breakthrough Performance at the Phoenix Film Festival for his role. Evan appeared in numerous television commercials for Sony PlayStation, Progressive Insurance, Moviefone, Sour Patch Kids, Papa John’s Pizza, and Kellogg. He starred in the MGM film Sleepover as Rusell ”Spongebob” Hayes in 2004, and played in the ABC series The Days as Cooper Day.
Peters had a recurring role as Seth Wosmer in the first season of the Disney Channel series Phil of the Future from 2004-2005.
