Ellar Coltrane Kinney Salmon is an American actor and model known for his role as Mason Evans Jr. in Richard Linklater’s film Boyhood (2014). For the role, he won the Critics’ Choice Movie Award for Best Young Performer.
He was primarily homeschooled with the exception of three years of high school and finally received his GED.
