Who is Ed Henry?
Ed Henry is an American journalist who most recently served as a co-host of America’s Newsroom on the Fox News Channel, along with Sandra Smith. He was fired from the channel on July 1, 2020, due to sexual misconduct allegations.
Henry began providing political analysis for the WMAL Morning News and The Chris Core Show in 2003. These were two local radio shows on WMAL, Washington, D.C. He also covered Capitol Hill for Roll Call for eight years, writing that newspaper’s Heard on the Hill column. He has also been a contributing editor at Washingtonian.
Henry was a 2011-12 member of the Siena College (his alma mater)’s Board of Associate Trustees. He served as the moderator of the CNN Inside Politics broadcast. During his tenure, there was a time that Robert Novak stormed off the set, on August 4, 2005, during a live discussion with James Carville. The discussion was about Florida Republican Representative Katherine Harris’ just-announced 2006 bid for U.S. Senate. Ed howver carried on with the discussion with Carville for the remaining part of the segment.
