DeAnna Pappas (full name: DeAnna Marie Stagliano) is an American TV personality best known for her participation in season 11 of the ABC reality television show The Bachelor, and season 4 of The Bachelorette.

In both her junior and seniors years at school, Pappas was vice-president of her class. She then attended Georgia Military College and received a degree in General Studies. She then attended the Gaddy’s School, where she earned her real estate license. Pappas practiced real estate at Keller Williams Realty Connections in Newnan, Georgia.

Pappas was born as the middle child of three children. She has a brother, Thomas, and a sister, Chrissy. With her mother and siblings, Pappas moved to Kentucky shortly thereafter she was born. She lost her mother to cancer when she was twelve years old. After her mother’s death, Pappas moved with her siblings to Newnan, Georgia, to live with her father.

Pappas’ heartbreak was evident in the follow-up, “After the Final Rose” show. ABC Television tapped Pappas to star in The Bachelorette (2003) after recognizing her popularity. In the 2008 season of Bachelorette, She finally rejected single dad Jason Mesnick accepting the marriage proposal of professional snowboarder Jesse Csincsak. Pappas’ and Jesse’s relationship lasted a few months before the engagement was called off. Jason Mesnick went on to become “The Bachelor”, in 2009 where he originally dramatically dumped but later made up with runner-up, Molly Malaney.

She won Fox Reality Channel’s “Golden Realtini”,given to the most memorable reality performer of the year in October 2008.

She became the co-host of getting Married on Lifetime TV, reporting on wedding planning during her engagement in 2009. She was on the “Big Fat Greek Bachelorette Party” episode of the Oxygen cable-channel show Bachelorette Party in late 2011.
