At Southwark Crown Court, Carrick plead guilty to 4 more charges of rape on January 16, 2023. Carrick’s crimes took place between 2003 and 2020, mostly in Hertfordshire.
Sadiq Khan, the Mayor of London, was critical of him, stating that Carrick was ”absolutely sickened and appalled.” UK Crown Prosecution Service chief prosecutor Jaswant Narwal stated that ”The Scale of the degradation Carrick subjected his victims to is unlike anything I have encountered in my 34 years with the Crown Prosecution Service.
