Dana Marie Perino is an American political analyst also an author best known to have served as 24th Secretary at the White House Press.
This was under President Bush starting from September-14-2007, up to January-20-2009. Also, she was the second secretary of the White House Press after Dee Dee Myers, who served during Clinton’s error. Currently, she serves as Fox News’s political analyst. She is also the co-host of The Five show, also a book publisher executive at Random House. October-2-2017, she started hosting The Daily Briefing on Fox News.
It was after the 11 attacks in September that Perino got hired by Andy Card who was the White House chief of staff. Before that, she was an associate communication director at the White House CEQ. From 2005-2007, she was Deputy Press Secretary. Starting from March-27 to April-30-2007, acted as White House Press Secretary as Tony Snow was undergoing treatment due to colon cancer.
August-31-2007, president Bush announced that Perino would take over Snow’s role.
