Who is Cody Rhodes?
Cody Rhodes is an American professional wrestler. He worked for All Elite Wrestling. Cody was the inaugural and record three-time AEW TNT Champion and also worked as an executive vice president. He is known for his tendency with WWE where he performed as Stardust and also other wrestling promotions like Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, Ring of Honor, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling. OVW Southern Tag Team Championship.
Cody started his wrestling career n 2006. On May 13 he took his first match against Pat Buck at an OVW live event in Corydon, Indiana where he lost the match. In mid-august 2006 Cody and Shawn Spears formed a tag team. They were later involved in a feud with The Untouchables over the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship. Spears and Cody defeated The untouchables where they won the service of Cherry who was The Untouchable’s manager. Cherry escorted Spears and Cody to the ringside where spears fell in love with her which led to the interference of the match.
The OVW Southern Tag Team Championship evacuated after the match ended in a draw on November 29. After one week rematch between the two teams was held where Cherry joined The Untouchables and helped them win the OVW Southern Tag Team Championship. Cody and Spears won the championship after they defeated Deuce ‘n Domino in a street fight on December 20.
Cody and spears split after Cody’s successes in singles matches. He won the OVW Heavyweight Championship against Paul Burchill at a house show on February 17, 2007. On April 11 they were defeated by Justin LaRouche and Charles Evans in Southern Tag Team Championship.
