Cleen Rock One whose real name is James Steinke is an American Professional tattoo artist. He is best known for competing in the Paramount Network’s hit show Ink Master. Rock has over two decades of tattooing experience. He started off owning a shop in Illinois, earning guest spots and magazine features around the United States before opening his shop in Las Vegas.
Rock owns three tattoo shops in America; Chrome Gypsy, Golden Skull, and Nevada Tattoo.

Not much is known about Rock’s mother, father, and siblings. Cleen has shared that initially, his mother declined the idea of him getting a tattoo. Rock told his mother if she didn’t take him to a professional artist, he would get tattooed in somebody’s garage or kitchen.
On seeing his persistence, his mother gave in and allowed him to get a tattoo. At the age of 16, he got his first tattoo which was inspired by the elephant chain which was on the left arm of Red Hot Chili Peppers bassist Flea.
Being a minor at that time, a tattoo customer was required to be at least 21 or get parental consent before they are tattooed. His mother wrote a permission slip for him and gave him a copy of her ID.
A few years later, he got his second tattoo, now without having to ask for parental consent. His love for tattooing was so much in him that he made up his mind to pursue professional tattooing.

There are no details of their wedding but sources revealed that Rock revealed that he got married to his girlfriend, sometime in early March 2019.
Cleen Rock One Ink Master
In 2014, Cleen first participated in the Paramount Network’s hit show Ink Master. However, he failed for three consecutive seasons but he finally won the competition in the 11th season. He out-inked Christian Buckingham by working on a 35-hour tattoo of a massive cobra-and-skull concoction on his subject’s body and this led to his win.
He was crowned the ink master for season 11 and he went ahead winning a prize of $100,000.
Cleen Rock One New Show
Rock comes back for a spinoff of the series called Ink Master: Grudge Match. On the show, old rivalries are brought to the forefront as previous Ink Master contestants go head-to-head against their biggest rivals.
Former champions Ryan Ashley (Season 8), DJ Tambe (Season 9 and Season 10), and Cleen Rock One (Season 11) return to the studio, bringing their experience back to the game as judges and possibly referees.
