Cat Cora Biography | Who Is Cat Cora?

Cat Cora (Catherine Ann Cora) is an American professional chef, author, restaurateur, contributing editor, television host and personality, actress, avid philanthropist, health and fitness expert, and lifestyle entrepreneur.

She has served up her culinary knowledge as a judge on ABC’s competition series Family Food Fight and founded Little Kitchen Academy, a Montessori-style culinary school for ages 3-teen.

Outside the kitchen, she is known for her philanthropic efforts. Cora is the President and Founder of Chefs for Humanity. Chefs for Humanity is an organization that originated in response to the 2004 Tsunami disaster. The foundation is dedicated to reducing hunger worldwide by supporting humanitarian relief and promoting nutrition education.

She is also a prominent published author of three successful cookbooks, one children’s book, and, in 2015, her raw and remarkably candid memoir called Cooking as Fast as I Can: A Chef’s Story of Food, Family, and Forgiveness.

Cora partnered with WW on a first-of-its-kind health food destination inside Barclays Center in Brooklyn, called WW FreestyleTM Café: BKLYN in 2018. She was also proud to be featured in the permanent collection of the Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Museum’s Kitchen Table exhibit in Meridian, Mississippi.

She is the co-host of the American reality competition show Around the World in 80 Plates alongside Curtis Stone. It premiered on May 9, 2012, on the Bravo cable TV network. The show follows twelve chefs competing in a culinary race across ten countries in 44 days.
