San Paulo
Casemiro was a product of Sao Paulo’s youth system, having been born in Sao Jose dos Campos, Sao Paulo. He served as captain to its sides from the age of 11 upwards, and was known as ”Carlao”. Casemiro went back to Real Madrid on June 5, 2015, who activated his buyback clause, and after two months his contract was extended until 2021.
