Barry Keoghan is a famous Irish professional actor. He is known for appearing in the movies Dunkirk (2017) and The Killing of a Sacred Deer (2017). For the films, he won an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Supporting Actor and received a nomination for the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Male.

Barry has also appeared in Calm with Horses (2019), for which he was nominated for the BAFTA Award for Best Actor in Supporting Role, and also RTE drama Love/Hate (2013). Keoghan appeared in school plays as a child but was later banned for ”messing about”. In 2011, he began his acting career. He answered an advertisement for Between the Canals after noticing a casting notice in a local shop window and played Aido in a small role in the movie, which was then launched in 2011. Later he studied acting at The Factory, a local Dublin school, at the age of 18, and the same year, appeared in Fair City. He then appeared as the ”infamous cat killer” Wayne on Love/Hate in 2013.
