Asia Argento is an Italian actress and filmmaker, and a daughter to filmmaker Dario Argento. She has appeared in various of her father’s works and earned mainstream success. Asia’s success was after her appearances in XXX (2002), Land of the Dead (2005), and Marie Antoinette (2006).

Asia started acting at age nine after she was cast in a brief role in a movie by Sergio Citti. At age 16, she played in her father’s movie Trauma (1993).
