Ashley Brewer is an American sports journalist serving as a sports anchor and reporter for ESPN. She was taken up to serve as one of the hosts of The Replay on Quibi and also on the rotation of Sportcenter. She then became a co-host on SportsCentre on ESPN+ in 2021.
Beginning as a reporter, Brewer served as a college football sideline reporter for Cox 7 Arizona. She eventually became the weekend sports anchor at KGUN-TV, in Tucson, Arizona. Brewer then served as a weekend sports anchor and reporter at KABC-TV in Los Angeles. She has shared that her mom had an old friend who helped introduce Brewer to the sports office at ABC7 and after she got the internship, her journey began. In 2020, she was hired by ESPN. And made her SportsCenter debut on September 28, 2020. Moreover, she has worked on pre- and post-game shows and co-hosted ESPN Radio shows.
Brewer was also a part of the broadcast team on The Bachelor Winter Games show on American Broadcasting Company. Her duties there included; covering MMA and being a presenter for the 2022 NHL Awards. ESPN then transferred her back to Los Angeles on August 17, 2021, where she no co-anchors the 1:00 a.m. ET (10:00 p.m. PT) edition of SportsCenter.
