Angie Lassman is an American broadcast journalist and weather presenter working for NBC 6 South Florida. She is probably best known for her work on her weather forecasting show, WTVJ NBC 6.
Lassman gained popularity when she won the prestigious award ‘Emmy Awards 2018′, that too three times.
Lassman attended the Florida Institute of Technology (FIT)Department of Ocean Engineering and Science earning a degree on Bachelors of Science in Meteorology, in 2012. In Florida, she also played volleyball.
Lassman then earned her Masters’ degree in Master of Science in Meteorology at the same institute ( FIT). She was also a facilitator for the FIT Department of Space Sciences, educating Florida Division for Emergency Management officials and law enforcement on proper procedures and also crisis management.
She started her career as a Meteorologist and Reporter at News-Press & Gazette Company for 2 years in Saint Joseph, Missouri. At Saint Joseph, she worked as the weekday morning meteorologist.
