McGlowan started her career as a government affairs expert by serving as government and public affairs manager for Mirage Resorts owned by Steve Wynns. She also took part in lobbying initiatives during her tenure with the American Gaming Association (AGA) which actually set up the foundation for Mirage Resorts’ latest gaming properties which include Beau Rivage in Biloxi, Mississippi, and Bellagio in Las Vegas, Nevada.
