Alisyn Camerota (Alisyn Lane Camerota) is an American political commentator and broadcast journalist. Camerota is currently the host of CNN Tonight from 10-11. Formerly, she was an anchor of CNN’s morning show New Day and a co-host of the afternoon addition of CNN Newsroom that aired from 2 to 4 pm with Victor Blackwell. Previously Alisyn was the New Day anchor on a CNN morning show. Before joining CNN, she was a Fox News presenter. Camerota has been nominated twice for an Emmy Award for her work in news reporting both nationally and internationally.

Alisyn covered the aftermath of the Parkland school shooting, Houston Hurricane Harvey, and the Brussels and Paris terror attacks. Camerota interviewed the Parkland shooting survivors and the National Rifle Association representatives hours after the shooting.
