In 2011, he started his professional MMA career, competing in the European circuit. While here, he amasses a record of 8-1 before being signed by the UFC in March 2017.
An Ultimate Fighting Championship Career
He made his debut against Francimar Barroso on September 2, 2017, at UFC Fight Night 115 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Rakic won the fight via unanimous decision. On February 24, 2018, he was expected to face Gadazhimurad Antigulov at UFC on Fox 28. However, it was reported that Antigulov was pulled from the bout on February 7, 2018, citing an injury.
