Allen Lorenz “A.J. Pollock is a remarkable American professional baseball outfielder for the Chicago White Sox of MLB (Major League Baseball). Previously, he played in MLB for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Dodgers.
He played college baseball for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He was selected by the Diamondbacks in the first round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft. In 2012, he made his MLB debut with the Diamondbacks. He was an MLB All-Satr and in 2015 won a Gold Glove Award.

A Career with the Arizona Diamondbacks
A.J. was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the first round of the 2009 MLB draft. The Diamondbacks invited him to spring training in 2010. He missed his entire season due to injury after he broke his right elbow while attempting to make a diving catch. For the first time on April 18, 2012, he was called up to the majors and on that day he made his debut. Batting as a pinch hitter for Justin Upton, he collected his first career MLB hit, a single, on April 23 against the Phillies.
He played 31 games for the Diamondbacks that season batting .247 with two home runs and eight RBIs. In 2013, he batted .269 with 8 home runs and 38 RBIs over the course of 137. Due to an injury, he missed the second half of the 2014 season. Up to that point in the season he was batting .302. He was named a National League All-Star in 2015.
